Fall starts today .... and I'm going to miss all these (cos I'm now stuck in Asia)
I'm going to miss:
the leaves changing colours and starting to fall,
the still warm Autumn's sunny days but the lovely chill in the air,
the feeling of rest that creeps over the land like a blanket,
those bright red berries in my hedgerows
the hedgehogs, squirrels and foxes rustling around at my back garden,
picking conkers, crunching through leaves and sitting by my fireplace with my mug of hot chocolate.
Samhain, Bonfire Night and Thanksgiving.
eating caramel apples, hot stews and pumpkin soup on those cold dark evenings ..
Arrghhhhh .....
