For the love of God!!.. this is NOT the famous London Bridge. This bloody bridge is TOWER BRIDGE!!!..
You, me, your great grandfather, my great great grandfather have never seen London Bridge, even if they grew up in London. You or they may have seen a bridge you all thought and called 'London Bridge', but it's not the famous bridge of that children's song. The real London Bridge is gone, though it didn't fall down. It was simply replaced by something more modern.
the REAL London Bridge was not a pretty one. It was the first stone bridge completed in 1209AD, and despite the centuries of war and natural disaster, it stood in place for over 600 years.
I can understand that many tourists confuse Tower Bridge for London Bridge as one of the most famous bridges in the world. But the ugly truth is that London Bridge simply does not exist anymore.
So, if you want to see the real London Bridge, either go back in time or ask the Mayor of London to build a replica. If not, please address Tower Bridge by its proper name and enjoy it for what it is !!!
